At the beginning of summer, it can feel like there are a million things you can do! You can plan spontaneous trips to cool places or simply hang out with your closest friends! However, sometimes it can be difficult to think of something to do because it feels as if you’ve already done everything. So in order to make your life a little easier, I’ve listed three things you can do over the summer to keep your summer nice and lively!!
Hike to a Waterfall
Although this doesn’t sound too great for those who dislike any form of exercise, it’s definitely worth a try. It can be really easy to find a local waterfall or maybe even just a hidden wonderland within nature! If you are unsure of where to find a waterfall, do some research and look for waterfalls near you or maybe even further away if you want to take a longer trip! Don’t fear getting lost because that will just make the whole experience a bit more fun (although you should probably bring some sort of GPS just in case). This hike could also be a great opportunity for some really cute pictures with your friends, which are always a bonus!
Have a Bonfire
This may seem a little more guided toward activities you might do at camp, but it can actually be really fun for just about anyone. Invite some close friends or loved ones, gather around a fire, talk about everything and anything, add some snacks (you should probably have some s’mores in there somewhere), and you’ll be set! If you want something to do other than just sitting around, you could even watch a movie. It’s not something too extravagant, but it will certainly bring you and any other person there that much closer!
Plan a Road Trip
A road trip might seem like a hard thing to do, but it can be really simple if you don’t over think it! All you have to do is pack some clothes, round-up your friends, pick a spot, and drive. Have a little fun with it, and go somewhere you've never been! Many local towns have small shops that might offer unique souvenirs you couldn’t find anywhere else. Again, this could bring up some cute photo opportunities for you and your besties! Instead of going to just one location, you could even extend it and go to various places. This way you’ll get a little bit of everything on your road trip!
There are a lot of other things you could do over the summer and maybe you already have plans, but if you ever find yourself in need of an idea, refer back to this post! Even if they don’t always go as planned, they will most certainly be memorable. So grab some friends, and set sail because the world awaits you.
Until Next Time,
